Computer Access Resources for Youth
This online Employment
Connections tool just for youth, will provide you with
information about planning for your career and finding
a job. *Plus for a limited time register with CARY and
receive a free T-shirt.
Scholarships and Internships
Employment Connections will provide guidance for youth who wish to apply
for scholarships to further their education. We will also help coordinate
internship opportunities to help you gain job experience and marketable
occupational skills.
Mentoring Program
One-on-one career counseling is available to eligible youth. This program provides
continuous mentoring for youth needing career decision guidance and real
world applications for work concepts.
Job Coaching
Our staff will educate eligible youth on how to apply their personal
strengths and interests to achieve successful employment.
Youth Services Program
Employment Connections' Youth Services Program provides a series of workshops
designed to expand your employment knowledge to increase
your opportunities for success in the workforce.
This program focuses on helping you gain a firm understanding of the
fundamentals of career exploration, work readiness,
leadership and citizenship. During our workshops you will learn
valuable workplace skills including resume writing techniques,
job searching, and job retention skills.
